The Gallery of Mostovna Cultural Centre called TIR is located in a renovated former industrial building on the outskirts of Nova Gorica. The gallery, founded in 2006, is predominantly focused on presenting young and upcoming artists, both those who work in traditional media and those who use modern, technologically-based art forms, without any technical, stylistic or content limitations. The programme of the gallery is based on an open international call for exhibition projects, which is annually opened in the summer.

The gallery hosted a number of up-coming local artists and occasionally exhibits artists from abroad. As Nova Gorica and thus TIR are located just by the border with Italy, cooperation with Italian artists, institutions and audiences is a very common practice. TIR also actively collaborates with institutions like School of Arts, University of Nova Gorica and Academy of Fine Arts and Design. The exhibitions are often accompanied by music performances or poetry readings. Movie nights also regularly feature at TIR.
