The [[Prežihov Voranc Cottage|birthplace cottage]] in Preški vrh offers an insight into the life and work of renowned author Lovro Kuhar (1893&ndash;1950), who published under the pen name [[Prežihov Voranc]].

Renovated in [[established::1970]] by the [[Koroška Regional Museum, Ravne na Koroškem Unit|Ravne na Koroškem Unit]] of the [[Koroška Regional Museum]], the architecture of the cottage reflects the traditional style of the Koroška region, which used wood as the main building material. The interior is furnished in a style reminiscent of the author's youth and showcases furniture, clothing, pictures, and other decorative items. Visitors can peruse the author's literary works and learn about his life. Next to the cottage stands a bronze memorial dedicated to [[Prežihov Voranc]], designed by academic sculptor [[Stojan Batič]].

A part of the collection documenting the life and literary endeavours of [[Prežihov Voranc]] is also on display in the [[Prežihov Voranc and Leopold Suhodolčan Memorial Room]], located in [[Koroška Central Library Dr France Sušnik, Ravne na Koroškem|Koroška Central Library Dr France Sušnik]] in Ravne na Koroškem.
