Inaugurated in 1992, the No Border Jam Festival is the oldest Slovene underground music festival, a punk festival similar to the ‘If Kids are United’ festival in Vienna, Austria, and the ‘Monte Paradiso’ festival in Pula, Croatia. The programme has presented some significant names of the anarcho-punk and punk scene, including Oi Polloi, Marky Ramone, Citizen Fish, Wat Tyler, Icons of Filth, Anarcrust and several local groups which are well-known in Europe, eg Pridigarji, Scuffy Dogs, Center za dehumanizacijo (CZD) and a number of other new groups. The festival takes place in eastern Slovenia; the first one was held in Ptuj and the second one at Ormož, but all subsequent festivals have been hosted by the Pekarna Cultural Centre in Maribor.
