The DANS Arhitekti architectural studio was founded in 2004 by Miha Dešman, Katarina Pirkmajer Dešman, Eva Fišer Berlot, Rok Bogataj, and Vlatka Ljubanović. A collective of architects, that have formerly cooperated at various projects, in their practice today pays special attention to the social dimension. The DANS projects thus focus on schools, kindergartens, hospitals, and buildings for people with special needs.

Some of the recent work includes a centre for eldery people Hospic, a children department and work therapy space at the Institute for Rehabilitation, and a footbridge Špica across the Ljubljanica river; all in Ljubljana.

The DANS Arhitekti has successfully entered several competitions. Their proposal for the Don Bosko Centre in Maribor won a first prize in 2007. The Minimal Housing Units Pipanova in Ljubljana is a result of the invited competition in 2007 as well. Both projects are currently in progress.
