The Academy of Fine Arts and Design' Department of Painting, Sculpture and Restoration Library serves the three departments: the [[Department of Painting]], the [[Department of Sculpture]] and the [[Department of Restoration]]. It specialises in literature on art history, fine art and art theory, especially modernism and post-modern art. The library comprises numerous monographs, dictionaries, encyclopaedias and catalogues of exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad, plus several periodical titles. At 90 square metres, the library offers 16 seats for readers. Together with the Department of Design Library the libraries of the Academy have 24,770 units of library materials and 71 titles of currently ordered serial publications. The library is also an integral part of the library-information network of the University of Ljubljana. It is equipped with classic card catalogues and terminals. Since 1994, data have been entered into the COBISS/OPAC System.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
