ARF - Atelier for Animation Ljubljana Ltd was established in 1990 by Zdravko Barišić, director of successful short films in the 80s and 90s. For his film Authority Barišić received the Golden Bear Award at the Berlin Film Festival in 1988, while his film Balkan Roulette was entered in the short film competition section in Cannes in 1998.
