The Arrea Architecture biro was founded by Maruša Zorec, Uroš Rustja, Mitja Novak and Martina Tepina, a collective of architects. In several projects by Arrea have tackled cultural heritage issues.

In 2010 Arrea designed the first low-energy wooden youth hostel in Slovenia Punkl, managed by the Youth Cultural Centre in the Municipality of Ravne na Koroškem.
