Since its establishment in 1978, Cantemus Kamnik Mixed Choir has developed its repertoire to include Slovene as well as international compositions. Led by Sebastijan Vrhovnik, Cantemus has sung with many acclaimed soloists and orchestras. In 2002 it participated in a seminar led by Holger Speck and in 2003 it presented a concert with the German chamber choir Quatro Forte from Schwetzingen. In 2003 the choir was awarded a gold plaque at the national Naša pesem Choir Competition in Maribor. Cantemus has toured to Austria, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
