The Emzin Magazine Photography of the Year Competition initially called Photography of the Year Competition is an annual Slovene photography project, organised by Emzin Institute of Creative Production since 1993.
A jury of experts presents three awards for art photography and one for reportage, and selects the entrants' finest works for exhibition. The call for submissions to the competition is announced in November and is open to amateur as well as professional Slovene photographers of different generations who deal with various contents, formats, and techniques.
