The Postojna Blues Festival is a concert series of present-day blues and associated music styles with black American roots and derivations – gospel, rhythm and blues, zydeco, soul, funk-blues, rock-blues, and acoustic revivalist folk-blues.

After a very ambitious start during the concert season 2004/2005 and the two editions of a concluding two-day open festival in summer 2005 and 2006 which failed in terms of audience attendance, the "festival" again took the present form of a concert season in 2008. It has slowly gained an audience and produces a relaxed atmosphere at every concert in the Jamski dvorec located at Postojna Cave.

Among the musicians who have performed at the Postojna Blues Festival during past years are: Kay Foster Jackson, Sugar Blue, Byther Smith, C.J. Chenier, Doug MacLeod, Papa George, Michale Burks, David Evans, Ten Years After, Sugar Blue Band, Vincent W. Williams.
