Marko Ornik

Uho; oko:, the Institute for Art and Technology Maribor, was founded in 2009 by the artist Marko Ornik and consists of a team of individuals of different ages and artistic profiles. The institute has since then either collaborated or independently produced a number of projects that featured an international set of artists dealing with music, computer art, AV installations, even illustration and so on.

They've collaborated with the International Festival of Computer Arts (IFCA), Etnika International World Music Festival, KIBLIX Festival, Izzven Jazz Festival and the Mariboring concert series. In 2012 the Centralna postaja, located in the old town centre of Maribor, was set up as a venue for various new media and sound events – and is Uho; oko:'s central production unit since than.
