Marko Ornik

Uho; oko:, the Institute for Art and Technology, was founded by the artist Marko Ornik and consists of a team of Maribor based individuals of various artistic profiles. Established in 2009, the institute has either collaborated on or independently produced a number of art projects and events dealing with music, computer art, audiovisual installations and some contemporary takes on visual arts.

They've collaborated with the International Festival of Computer Arts (IFCA), Etnika International World Music Festival, KIBLIX Festival, Izzven Jazz Festival and the Mariboring concert series. In 2012 the Centralna postaja, located in the old town centre of Maribor, was set up as a performance venue, exhibition space and research lab and is Uho; oko:'s central production unit since than.
