Filmoteka Institute for Promotion of Film Culture is a non-governmental organisation founded in 2016. A group of film professionals from the fields of filmmaking, film theory, restoration and archiving aims at sharing the knowledge on Slovenian film within a broader scope of AV production, setting up project that has improved the accessibility of the related data.

Its main projects are the Slovenian Film Database launched in 2020 and supported by the Slovenian Film Centre, and the
