The office takes part in Art Nouveau Network, established in 1999 to join experts dealing with Art Nouveau. In network are fourteen European cities, which boast a rich architectural heritage of Art Nouveau: Ljubljana, Brussels, Barcelona, Terrassa, Reus, Glasgow, Helsinki, Vienna, Nancy, Alesund, Palermo, Riga, Budapest and Varese region.
Some temporary exhibitions are organised at Turjak Castle, Spomeniškovarstveni center (the IPCH Gallery) and other locations. In 2008, for example, they prepared the exhibitions The Last Station [Zadnja postaja] on archaeological excavations at Emonika City Centre and Renovation of the Apartment Buildings in Ljubljana – Evaluation, Renovation and Maintenance.
The office with its employees has won several Stele acknowledgements and Stele Awards – in 2003 Marjan Zadnikar, in 2002 Stojan Ribnikar, in 1996 Marijan Slabe.
Other regional offices
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
