Lutkarnica puppet studio in Koper was established by Maja Bavdaž who has been active in puppetry for more than three decades (she co-founded Papilu Theater). It produces performances, organises workshops for small and school-aged children and also holds seminars for teachers. Lutkarnica also organises the Alpe Adria PUF Festival:
