The [[Library Association of Ljubljana]] is a voluntary, independent, non-profit organisation of librarians. It aims to develop library science in theory and practice in order to raise the level of library activities and staff education. Its objectives are a good library network and the unity of the information system. It organises lectures, meetings and visits and, if necessary, raises library issues in the public media.
