Background
The name of the Institute, liminal, is derived from the Latin word 'limen', which means 'doorstep' and characterises the intermediary, hybrid, border-line, and the fluidity of the marginal meanings, actions, expressions. In accordance with the description and the values the Institute nourishes, the organisation is open for new people, ideas and new members.
