The Meduza gallery in Koper prepares approximately 7 exhibitions per year mostly of Slovene established and young promising artists. They co-operate with foreign and regional institutions like in 2009 with Università Popolare di Trieste, PUF festival, local puppet theater studio Lutkarnica, P.A.R.A.S.I.T.E. Institute that featured its collection of artist books with the presentation of the collection entitled 12 Boring Poems of Dejan Habicht. Exhibitions are sometimes combined with other branches of Coastal galleries or extended in the public space like it was in 2009 with the exhibition of Slovene sculpturer Jakov Brdar (known as author of many public monuments and sculptures) that was extended on the Titov trg.
The commercial brunch of the Meduza Gallery offers various art works with the focus on the contemporary Slovene artistst creating in different formats from paintings, drawings, graphics, sculptures, as well the contemoporary Slovene design.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
