Established in 1996, Menart Records is a Slovene record company and an official distributor for Sony BMG Music Entertainment and Edel AG. It promotes music of various genres, primarily pop and rock, folk, rap and dance music. Some of the more famous Slovene musicians on its books include 6pack Čukur, Alya, Atomik Harmonik, Jan Plestenjak, Kingston, Magnifico, Saša Lendero, Siddharta, Šank rock, Tabu, Terrafolk, Werner and Zablujena generacija.

It also represents musicians from the whole of ex-Yugoslavia such as Colonia, Edo Maajka, Elemental, Goran Karan, Ivana Kindl, Karma, Luka Nižetić, Bolesna braća, Dubioza kolektiv, Hladno pivo, Darko Rundek and others.


Menart's website carries short presentations of its musicians and their projects, videoclips and information on new CDs and DVDs. Besides music, the company is also dealing with other wares such as children's books, cartoon DVDs, book and magazines, toys, sweets and some other things.
