The birthplace and home of Slovene classical philologist and lexicographer Maks Pleteršnik (1840-1923) was restored in period style and opened to the public in 1994. It consists of three rooms, furnished with the furniture, personal belongings and books of Maks Pleteršnik. The cellar houses a viticulture collection. Pleteršnik's wine cellar, in which the writer died, is currently under renovation and will in future be used for study visits.
