Background
Museum Ormož was established in 2005 by the Ormož Municipality with the separation of the Ormož unit from Ptuj Regional Museum. Since the Ormož Municipality did not manage to cover all the costs, the Museum Ormož was again merged with the Regional Museum of Ptuj in 2009. The new museum was named Regional Museum of Ptuj – Ormož.
