Established in [[established::1994]] and relocated to new premises in 2001, [[Ptuj Centre for Cultural Activities (CID Ptuj)]] is a public institution which serves as an info point, offers computers with internet access, and organises a range of youth club activities (concerts, lectures, meetings, literary evenings, exhibitions) and other projects. 

In addition to actively developing programmes for creative use of free time for children and young people, the centre also provides information and counselling work, arranges youth mobility activities, as well as leads various non-formal and informal education and voluntary programmes throughout the whole Lower Podravje region. It also hosts international volunteers through the European Voluntary Service programme.

The centre manages the [[Ptuj City Cinema]], located at a separate location in the city center.
