The Ethnological Collection of Agricultural Implements at Stara Gora, arranged in 1997 in old abandoned school opposite the late Baroque church of St Spirit, was inventoried in 2009 during a one-week ethnological camp by students of the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the University of Ljubljana. The old school is also a venue of Stara Gora Art Colony.

An open-hearth kitchen, a peasant's room, a room used for cottage industry, and an archive room are arranged in the former primary school, built in 1906. The objects were originally amassed by amateur collector Jože Čuš and the collection has since been expanded further by Jože Čuš Junior and members of the Tourist Society of Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici.

The Ethnological Collection of Agricultural Implements consists of a domestic handicraft collection; a viniculture and fruit growing collection; an agricultural collection; tools for the production of flax, hemp and tow; a dwelling culture collection; a village crafts and pottery collection; an old illuminant collection, and an old school inventory collection.
