Category:Ethnographic museums and collections
The ethnographic heritage in Slovenia ranges from the national Slovene Ethnographic Museum to numerous private collections. The local ethnography sites (homesteads, open-air museums etc) date back as far as 17th century and represent authentic facets of peasant life. Contemporary museological approaches include urban ethnography exhibitions and projects. The rich museum collections are complemented by the growing national register of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Slovenia.
