The website RTD (Research and Technology Development) in Slovenia is an inter-ministerial web portal of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia that was established and is managed by the Slovene Research Agency (ARRS) and the former Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia (currently the Ministry of Culture) with a view to providing general information about activities in the fields of research, science, technology, industrial development, as they relate to fundamental and targeted applied research in Slovenia and abroad.
The website features information on the RTD activities within the ministries in Slovenia and information on regional research cooperation activities, EU programmes such as the Seventh Framework Programme, as well as international and European research with the aim of stimulating the development of the European Research Area.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
