Slovene Association of Antique and Humanistic Studies
Members and activities
The members of the Association are professionals with diploma in Greek and Latin or related studies, translators or students of Greek and Latin language with literature.
The Association organises annual competitions in knowledge of Latin language for high school pupils. The on-line popularisation of Antique and Humanistic Studies is also made possible with the discussion group Agor@, which is open for individuals interested in the topics of classic philology. The Association co-organises annual event on recent issues in Antique and Humanistic Studies Grošelj Symposium, which is named after Slovene classical philologist Milan Grošelj.
The Association publishes journal Keria, Studia Latina et Graeca, which focuses on humanistic studies for classical philologists, historians, philosophers, archaeologists, lawyers, medievalists, Slav and Roman language experts and pedagogues.
