Acta Historiae Artis Slovenica is a scientific journal established in 1996. Its aim is to publish the results of research studies in the history of art in Slovenia and research studies in its wider European context. Its international advisory board in 2009 consisted of seven experts from Austria (Salzburg, Vienna), Germany (Munich), Croatia (Zagreb), and Italy (Venice, Trieste, and Gorizia).

About

The journal appears annually and consists of approximately 200 pages; the papers are illustrated with black-and-white as well as colour reproductions. The texts by non-Slovene authors are printed in the original language with Slovene summaries added, and summaries in other languages are added to Slovene texts. Papers should usually be sent by the end of May of the current year. Indexes and abstracts for recent issues are available at the journal's website. The publication is distributed by ZRC Publishing.
