Mission and cultural cooperation
The Foundation's main mission is to build a bridge between academia and business excellency with linking promising students from Slovenia with university and industry mentors in U.S. but does also the same for American students in Slovenia. Although Slovenia and the US are target countries, the Foundation also seeks opportunities for American investors in Central and Eastern Europe countries.
In 2014 the Foundation together with Stanford University Computer Science launched a summer internship program at Stanford for students of the University of Ljubljana. Its goal is also to foster short cultural exchange programs for students. One of the donors is also Slowind quintet from Ljubljana.
