History
Archives Journal was first published yearly from 1978 until 2000 as a double figure. After 2000 the serial is published twice a year. Serial is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and The Slovene Research Agency (ARRS).
Programme / Mission
Serial discusses the methods of archival work, publishes regulations on archives and archival material, history of archives and conservation, restoration and reproduction of documents. Journal also monitors the development of archival science in the world and current issues on the protection and conservation of new formats of information on computer media.
