Background
Archives journal was first published yearly from 1978 until 2000 as a double issue. After 2000 it has been published twice a year as a single issue. The journal is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and the Slovene Research Agency (ARRS).
Contents
Archives publishes articles on the methods of archival work, the regulations on archives and archival material, the history of archives, as well as the conservation, restoration and reproduction of documents. The journal also monitors the development of archival science in the world and current issues on the protection and conservation of new formats of information on computer media.
