Avla NLB Gallery was established in 1971 in the entrance hall of the headquarters of the largest Slovene bank - Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), in the city centre of Ljubljana, close to the Cankarjev dom Culture and Congress Centre. The NLB has purchased thousands of high-quality art works which now form the Nova ljubljanska banka (NLB) Art Collection, established in 1999.


Programme

In addition to presentation of works from the NLB art collection (curated by Stane Bernik), the gallery presents temporary exhibitions of current works in the field of visual communication, covering graphic design, illustration and photography.
