The website introduces Slovenia's castles, mansions and palaces. The text is compiled from Ivan Stopar's Castle Guides and translated into English and German. The website contains numerous photos of the buildings or ruins also some monasteries and churches are included. The web site [[1]] was launched on 28th June 2004. There are 82 castles on the web site that is frequently updated with useful information for potential visitors or researchers. There are also links on possible mediaeval events as well as information about organisers. Founder of the site is enthusiast medievalist, also manufactures medieval armour and does the presentations of medieval combat.
