The Centre for Theatre and Film Studies Library of the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT) was established in 1945, together with the Academy. It covers 125 square metres and incorporates a small reading room with 16 seats. Since 1993 the library stock has been searchable via the [[COBISS - Slovene Virtual Library]] system as a specialised library. This is the only library in Slovenia which specialises in drama texts and literature on stage sets, costumes, and the history and theory of theatre, film, radio and TV. In 2002 the library collection consisted of around 5,280 book items and 5,276 periodicals. Since that time the introduction of a library card has increased the number of visits by students from other art academies.
