The more visible side of the chamber's work involves the organisation of exhibitions and awards, the foremost of which being the traditional annual exhibition of the work of its members. It administers the Golden Pencil Award for achievements by its members in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, and planning. Since 2006, the exhibition and award ceremony have tied in with the Congress of Slovene Architects.
