Background
In the field of arts and culture, prior to 2012 the Consulate General of the Republic of Slovenia New York regularly collaborated with Slovene artists who reside in New York, including residents at the residential flat in Brooklyn supported by the Slovene Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fulbright Program grantees, performing arts students (jazz, acting, etc.) and other artists living in NYC and the USA. Some presentations and lectures were organised in collaboration with CEC Artslink.
