In 2012, the CDAS started the ''Ksenija Hribar Award'' for special achievements in the field of contemporary dance. The award honours professionals in the field of contemporary dance in Slovenia whose excellence and innovative work importantly contribute to the quality and development of contemporary dance in Slovenia.

Founded in 1994 as a non-governmental professional association, the Contemporary Dance Association Slovenia gathers together dancers, choreographers, educators, critics, and theoreticians of contemporary dance at the national level.

Contemporary Dance Network

Contemporary Dance Network, a project of the Contemporary Dance Association Slovenia, involves 41 dance producers and endeavours to increase the quality of professional work in the field of contemporary dance.
