The Dance Programme of the Public Fund for Cultural Activities organises a traditional competition of young dance performers called Opus 1. Every year a topic for a short dance piece is announced and the jury selects the competitors on the basis of the received videos. The prizes are awarded for the best short dance piece, the best concept and the best dance performance.
