at the SOLO International Festival of One Man Shows Moscow
After finishing his studies at the Ljubljana theatre academy, Sašo Jurcer established his own theatre company in 1991, staging the three classical drama pieces A Dream Play, To Damascus and Three Sisters 1901-1991. Mojtina Jurcer is an actress who has developed her own style, in which she describes theatre as an 'internal world'. Her projects have included 1992's Correspondence ANGEL/us novus and 1999's Dream Your Dreams Now.
Jurcers produced Hamlet/enjoy from 2001, which was restaged in 2006 in a revised version and under the title Hamlet/Sanje at the Zadarnova festival of contemporary theatre, at the Armmono4 festival in Yerevan, and the I-Fest of solo performances in Chicago. Recently Jurcer institution produced A Cup of Chocolate (2005), Self-portrait (2005), Anatomy Of Loneliness (2007), and MEDEA('s Scream (2007).
During the last two years the Jurcer international collaboration has included around 16 presentations at various theatre, dance and performance festivals, also in Naples, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Kolarovo (Slovakia), Budapest, Alexandria, Solun, etc.
