RVMP evolved out of Rock vibe,  a magazine for contemporary rock music published during the 1990s which in its latter years began to promote music, organise concerts and offer management skills to selected bands. It is now a leading music promoter based at the [[Mostovna Cultural Centre]].

RVMP has promoted the Slovene bands Skytower from Postojna, Psycho-Path from Prekmurje, Zaklonišče prepeva from Nova Gorica and Rodoljubac from Tolmin, collaborating with [[Niowt]] from Ljubljana, [[Elvis Jackson]] from Ajdovščina and Shyam from Krško. It is involved in the multimedia electro project Audioworx and has also worked with Urban & 4 from Croatia.

RVMP is a part of the agency Kurz Rock Vibe which offers management, booking, and promotion for music bands. Along with organising music festivals and Slovenia's biggest festival of stand-up comedy, they also produce theatre, stand-up comedy and improvisation shows.
  
Rock Vibe promotes groups from Italy such as The Authentics, and since 1997 has collaborated with the Rototom organisation from Pordenone in organising the Italian reggae festival Rototom Sunsplash. In 2000 it introduced a homegrown version of this event, the Soča Reggae Sunsplash Festival.

Rock Vibe Music Promotion (RVMP) evolved out of the now decayed Rock Vibe, a rock magazine published during the 1990s which in its later years began to promote music, organise concerts and offer management skills to selected bands.


RVMP is a part of the agency Kurz Rock Vibe which offers management, booking, and promotion for music bands. Along with organising music festivals and Slovenia's biggest festival of stand-up comedy, they also produce theatre, stand-up comedy and improvisation shows.

RVMP represents Slovene bands like Elvis Jackson and foreign bands like the Bosnian band Dubioza Kolektiv.
