The SPP Institute for Promotion of Photography has been established in 2007 in order to raise the level of awareness of professional press photography in Slovenia. Its main showcase is the Slovenia Press Photo Festival (SPP), in 2010 organised in Cankarjev dom Culture and Congress Centre for the second time and featuring some prominent international members of the jury (Christopher Morris, Adriana Zehbrauskas, Murad Sezer, Oded Balilty, and Heidi Levine).
