The author himself, a special guest of the retrospective, was among others awarded in Cannes for his long-feature film ('Under the Moonlight', 2000). His five long-feature films were presented at the projections in Ljubljana, which were also screened in Maribor's [[Kino Udarnik Maribor|Kino Udarnik]].
