An exhibition by Gigodesign at the Budapest Design Week, organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia Budapest,
A colourful palette of work has come out of the hands of this creative collective from typography, information graphics, corporate identity, porters, publications, magazines and newspapers to interactive design, packaging design, industrial design, exhibition design, and advertisements.
The work of Gigodesign covers many cultural events – the exhibition design for the Biennial of Slovene Visual Communications and International Design Event, the web design of the Exodos International Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts Ljubljana, the annual posters for the Druga Godba Festival, the visual identity and the trophy of the Intercontinental Advertising CUP, and the information design for the Festival of Slovene Film.
Some of the most distinguished awards include National Design Awards – Designer of the year 2007, Piranesi Award 2004 for the Bell of Reconciliation memorial post, the Golden Drum Award, Print, Communication Arts, DIDA, EPICA, and several competition winning entries, to mention only the first prize at the Ford Design Competition. Gigodesign was honoured the ICOGRADA Excellence Award at the 20th BIO - Biennial of Industrial Design for HIT corporate visual identity.
International Red Dot Product Design Awards were granted to Gigodesign for the Elan skis SLX WaveFlex Race, the casement window Unisash Arx View produced by Kovinoplastika Lož, and the folding urban space chair Sitty, placed outside the Kino Šiška Centre for Urban Culture.
