However, the Hest Gallery in Ljubljana features recently annual more exhibitions as Hest Gallery in Maribor. In 2009 it presented 5 solo exhibitions mostly of the young generation of Slovene artist as internationally well known artist Uršula Berlot and her works researching spatial phantasms, in Ptujska Gora based artist Dušan Fišer with the project Mreženje prostora, exhibitions of Jože Šubic, Mateja Kavčič and Tanja Špenko. In February 2010 the Gallery presented exhibition of Jože Tisnikar, which was the month later featured also in its Maribor filial. Years before the Hest in Ljubljana featured older artists, in 2007 also themed group exhibition Russian avantguarde [Ruska avantgarda].
Represented artists
In Maribor and Ljubljana the Gallery offers for sale very bright palette of the work of more than 100 artists including some art works of established deceased Slovene authors as drawings of Slovene impressionist Rihard Jakopič, drawings of Avgust Černigoj (the key figure of Constructivism and the Slovene historic avant-garde), oils on the canvas and aquarelles of Jože Tisnikar, oil paintings of France Kralj, drawings and graphics of Božidar Jakac and many others. The Hest sells also works of some established Slovene artists of older generation as Janez Bernik, Jože Ciuha, and Lojze Spacal, further works of middle generation as Zora Stančič, Andrej Jemec, Živko Marušič or Dušan Kirbiš. It sales also works of the young middle generation as Dušan Fišer, Marko Jakše, Metka Kavčič, Borut Korošec and many others.
The works of very young artists presents the gallery occasionally for 14 days in the Hest 35 Gallery, Ljubljana, nearby to Hest Gallery Ljubljana.
