Jenko Award for the best poetry collection for the previous two years is awarded biennially by the Slovene Writers’ Association. It is often referred to as an award "from poets to poets", which is why it is generally highly valued by its winners.

The award was established in 1986. The ceremony usually takes place at the Prešeren Theatre Kranj, but since 1997 there were several times when it was presented at the Slovene Writers’ Association headquarters in Ljubljana instead. The most recent winners are Andrej Medved, Tomaž Šalamun and Josip Osti.

The award's committee is mostly comprised by poets and usually includes the previous year's winner. Unlike most other Slovene literary awards, it does not have a sponsor.
