The main lobby of the Jožef Štefan Institute, the largest public research institute in Slovenia, functions as a municipal gallery where each month a new exhibition is presented. The gallery is booked one year in advance and displays the works of well-known as well as lesser-known Slovene artists. The works of around 50 artists who have had a show at the gallery are presented at the Gallery's website.
