Kozinova nagrada
Trg francoske revolucije 6/I, SI-1000 Ljubljana

The Kozina Award is bestowed by the Society of Slovene composers. Since 1994 it has been the most important professional recognition awarded to fellow composers. The award is granted each year on 4 June, the Birth Anniversary of composer Marjan Kozina (1907–1966). The award is festively presented with a Certificate of Recognition and remuneration.

The Kozina Award is given for a completed opus or important achievements in composing, publicly presented in the last three years and can exceptionally be given for a one-time unique success.

Recent recipients of the award represent many of the most prominent contemporary Slovene composers: Alojz Ajdič, Janez Gregorc, Pavel Mihelčič, Pavle Merku, Lojze Lebič, Jakob Jež, Marko Mihevc, Samo Vremšak, Ivo Petrić, and Jani Golob.
