In addition to a reading room, access to the Internet and electronic databases is available to members at computer terminals. The library also houses a local collection department, featuring materials on the region and a collection of old postcards with motifs of Litija and its surroundings. Events relating to literature are organised regularly for library-goers of all ages, including story-telling hours, author meetings, book presentations, lectures, and courses in effectively using the library's services and information resources. Located in the premises is also the University of the Third Age, which conducts a series of educational courses and meetings, and the Slovenian Academy of Philately. |
