MMC Mink Multimedia Centre was opened in March 2005 by the Tolmin Union of Youth Associations as a part of the M3C Multimedia Centres Network of Slovenia. Free Internet access is offered to visitors along with other communication equipment, and a film editing room with professional assistance is available to the public. The Centre runs an educational programme and an intermedia artistic programme (based primarily on open-code programming) which presents new media as an important artistic and information tool. It is also involved in the annual Sajeta Creative Camp. The http://www.posocje.net, a regional portal which makes a part of a national cultural portal, has been developed.
