Published since 1992, Piranesi is one of the oldest architectural magazines in central Europe, plunging along with the Piran Days of Architecture and the Piranesi Award into every important European architectural debate.

Each magazine incorporates a thematic block covering important architectural events in central Europe, along with news and information about international architectural seminars and workshops. A comprehensive insight is given into individual opus through vivid interviews and photographic vision. Information about publications, exhibitions, seminars, competitions, a calendar of events and short reviews of important architectural events wraps up each issue.

Each year the Alpe-Adriatic Architectural Exhibition and the Piranesi Awards are presented at length. A historical section is dedicated to state-of-the-art architecture of the first decades of the 20th century.

A biannual version of the magazine is also distributed in America and Australia. Articles are published in both original language and Slovene translation.
