Nowadays the choir is an independent association and one of the best youth choirs in Slovenia. It has been awarded the highest prizes at the [[International Youth Choir Festival]] in Celje (1995, 1997), at the International Youth Music Festival in Neerpelt (1996 and 1998 first prize) at the International Choir Competition Mendelssohn-Bartholdy at Pohlheim (gold prize), and at festivals in Cork (2000), Budapest (2001), Lindenhozhause and Preveza, Greece (2002), Arnhem, Netherlands (2004). It performs with the [[RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra]] and the [[RTV Slovenia Big Band]], and appears as a regular guest in the concert series of [[Ljubljana Musical Youth]], which has published its songs on the audio CD ''Mikrokozmos''. The choir also prepares an annual concert. Since 2009 it has been led by [[Tereza Podlogar]]. |
